We can do no great things; only small things with great love. ~ Mother Teresa ~
Every day I have the privilege to support and play a role in celebrating a relationship is a wonderful day, and being a Marriage Celebrant is living the dream!
Marriage is filled with such hope and a sign of great love that dares to believe in a world where people can overcome differences, learn to grow up, discover the strength to let go their will and share this journey with another.
The fruit of that love is more love expressing itself in many forms and does not diminish love but multiplies it.
A celebrant is vital to the enjoyment of your big day, the less they are seen to be present, the greater their contribution as it provides the space for you and your life's partner to celebrate in front of and with family and friends. This alone is worthy of a good celebrant and a well balanced ceremony.
Many parts of the service can be tailored to meet your needs and expectations, be sure to ask what is possible and what is useful from your celebrant.
Giving family and friends roles to play such as readings, poems, playing music, carrying rings, the welcome as well as traditional bridesmaids and bride grooms is worthy of consideration.
Many older relatives and close family members will have loved you and supported you or your parents for many years and it is a wonderful way to recognize their love and commitment.
We can discuss any ideas you might have on any topic related to this special day over a coffee or cup of tea.
I look forward to my next wedding with anticipation and excitement.
What a wonderful day to be a marriage celebrant!
Warm regards

PS.
My wife and I run Marriage Preparation Days and these are fantastic relaxed days that are open and valuable according to the feedback we get, providing a place to reflect with key areas of a shared life together and the service that will gather this love into one relationship. They are only $100 per couple, go from 10-about 3.30-4pm in a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere. Couples of varying ages, cultures and denominations have thoroughly enjoyed the day.
